Online Customer Satisfaction Survey on Digital Tablet in Office

One or more SNAPT tablets can be used to rapidly deploy custom social network surveys in the field.

The SNAPT Tablet App can be downloaded here.

The first screen that is shown after pressing the app icon is the Login SNAPT screen. In this activity, the user has three options pull data, begin the survey or push data (Figure 1). The sequence of steps should be done in the following order:

Step 1. Pull Data

When the user selects Pull Data from the Login screen (Figure 1), the user is redirected to the Pull Data screen (Figure 2).

  • Key: the study key is determined by the researcher when creating the study and it can be found in the ResearcherUI in the study info page. The key is unique for each study.
  • TabletID: determined by the user. The tabletID is unique for each tablet.

After typing the information above, the user selects Pull Data and waits until all the data has been downloaded. When the data has been downloaded successfully and the user sees the success message, the user has to select the back button to go back to the Login SNAPT screen (Figure 1).


Step 2.  Survey

When the user selects Begin Survey from the Login screen (Figure 1), the user is redirected to the Login screen of the survey.

  • Username: the user can enter any username unless some restrictions have been specified by the researcher in the study. The restrictions can be found in the Info page of the study in the ResearcherUI.

After typing the information above, the user selects the login button. Note that the text is determined by the researcher when creating the study, it can be found in the Info page in the ResearcherUI.

The user is then redirected to the Consent Form (Figure 4). Read the consent form and select the agree button to continue with the survey.

The next step is to take a picture (Figure 5). The subject has to take a picture by selecting Take Picture. There is the option to Retake the picture or Accept it.

When the picture is accepted, the user will be redirected to a loading activity which uploads all the pictures and pulls all the pictures in the server.

The next activity is the pre-survey questions (Figure 6). There are two types of questions; multiple choice and fill text. The user must provide an answer to all the questions to continue with the survey.

At this point, the user has provided all the pre-survey information and the actual survey begins. The user sees pictures of some other users (Figure 7). Note that the maximum number of pictures can be determined by the researcher while creating the study. It can be found in the study info page in the ResearcherUI. The user has to drag the image to one of the options; recognize or don’t know.

The next activity (Figure 8) is based on the pictures that the user has selected as recognized on the previous activity (Figure 7). The user has to follow the steps below:

  1. Select one of the buttons
  2. Select the pictures that correspond to the option selected.
  3. Select a choice for each of the pictures in the screen.

Note that the choice can be changed by selecting the button with the new choice and select the picture. Notice that the color of the border changes to the new choice selected.

When the user has selected all the images, select Next.

The next activity (Figure 9) is based on the pictures that the user has selected as not closed on the previous activity (Figure 8). Layer questions are shown in this activity. The user has to follow the steps below:

  1. Select one of the buttons
  2. Select the pictures that correspond to the option selected.
  3. Select a choice for each of the pictures in the screen.

Note that the choice can be changed by selecting the button with the new choice and select the picture. Notice that the color of the border changes to the new choice selected.

When the user has selected all the images, select Next.

The next section is about attribute questions (Figure 10). Note that when the researcher creates the study, there is the option to add close attribute questions and recognize attribute questions. Thus, this section is based on all the pictures that have been selected as recognize in all users activity (Figure 7). To answer attributes questions, the user has to select one of the buttons.

The subject has completed the survey and it is time for the researcher to logout (Figure 11).

  • Key: the researcher has to enter the study key that was entered to pull the data.

After typing the information above, the user selects Logout.

The interviewer has to answer post-survey questions (Figure 12). There are two types of questions; multiple choice and fill text. The interviewer must provide an answer to all the questions to logout.

The user is then redirected to the exit activity (Figure 13). The user has the option to quit or go back to SNAPT login (Figure 1).

The user has the option to Quit the survey at any time by selecting Quit on the top right of the screen and enter the key that was used to pull the data.

Step 3. Push Data

When the user selects Push Data from the Login screen (Figure 1), the user is redirected to the Pull Data screen (Figure 14).

  • Key: the user should enter the same details provided when pulling the study in Step 1.
  • TabletID: determined by the user. The tabletID is unique for each tablet.

After typing the information above, the user selects Push Data and waits until all the data has been uploaded. After the data has been uploaded successfully and the user sees the success message, the user has to select the back button to go back to the Login SNAPT screen (Figure 1).
